Lettera inviata da Firenze il 10 maggio 1844. Moris riceverà il terzo numero del Giornale Botanico Italiano dalle mani del signor Gionferri. Prega Moris di salutare Genè, cui ha scritto per raccomandargli il professore Breschet. Parlatore invita Moris, Colla e Delponte ad inviare qualche loro contributo al Giornale, che si sta diffondendo, specie in Germania. Per incarico del Granduca, si recherà due o tre giorni a Senigallia, per esaminare una raccolta di piante e animali fossili del defunto Procaccini e giudicare se sia meritevole di acquisto.
