Lettera inviata da Genova il 28 giugno 1842. De Notaris è riuscito a vedere la figura della Serapias, eseguita da padre Denegri. A suo avviso è una “figuraccia”, che occorrerà arrangiare alla bell’ e meglio. Accetta il nome Isias che Moris ha proposto. De Notaris voleva mostrare al conte Gallina le nuove piante arrivate da Milano, però è dovuto partire improvvisamente. Sta preparando l’elenco delle piante ligustiche. Ha dei dubbi su un Ranunculus, che ritiene R. neapolitanus di Tenore. Ne invierà un esemplare a Moris per avere un parere.
