De Visiani si è impegnato con un botanico straniero per procurargli una raccolta di piante fresche del Piemonte, in particolare di quelle citate da Allioni in Flora Pedemontana. Prega Moris di aiutarlo nell’impresa, valendosi anche di collaboratori. Lo prega anche di anticipare la spesa, che verrà prontamente rimborsata. In uno spazio libero della lettera vi è un appunto di Moris: “28 luglio scritto al Rostan, 2 agosto scritto a De Visiani”.
