Lettera inviata da Borgosesia (Vc) il 30 agosto 1855. De Notaris il primo settembre si trasferirà a Mergozzo (Vb) dal fratello pittore. Elenca le poche piante interessanti raccolte a Borgosesia. De Notaris tornerà a Genova a fine ottobre, passando per Torino, al fine di salutare Moris, cui comunica la morte a 35 anni per colera del dottore Rota di Bergamo, autore di due prospetti della Flora Ticinese e Bergamasca.
