Lettera inviata da Klausenburg il 9 maggio 1880. Kanitz è spiacente di non avere le piante richieste da Gibelli. Si rammarica del fatto che la città in cui abita non si occupi dell’Orto; per di più i visitatori distruggono tutto. Kanitz è disposto a pubblicare su una rivista locale qualche lavoro di Gibelli scritto in latino.
