Lettera inviata da Cagliari il 30 ottobre 1834. Lo scrivente non riesce a dare a Moris informazioni sul genere Prunus, perché ormai non vi sono più frutti. Tramite il farmacista signor Uda gli ha mandato alcuni esemplari di Cochlearia coronopus. Dopo la perdita della moglie, le difficoltà di provvedere ai cinque figli sono aumentate. Ha chiesto aiuto al barone Manno, che non gli ha neppure risposto.
