Cita gli esempi di Pisa e Bologna, dove sono state moltiplicate le cattedre di Botanica e di Chimica. Anche a Parigi le cattedre di Botanica sono quattro, rette da Brongniart, Duchartre, Chatin e Moquin-Tandon. Tassi vuole sentire il parere di Moris.
