Lettera inviata da Genova il 2 marzo 1854. Dietro interessamento di Moris, De Notaris ha ricevuto l’anticipo di 800 lire per la gestione dell’orto. E’ stato molto occupato per l’esposizione di orticoltura. La collaborazione dell’Orto Botanico è stata molto utile. Belle piante sono state inviate da Besson e Rovelli. De Notaris manderà a Tenore i semi di Moris. Ha consegnato gli opuscoli a Tardy e Spinola.
